About

Laura Sparaco was first introduced to yoga in 1995 by her mother in her native Fort Lauderdale, Florida . After years of extensive participation as a student, Laura developed a strong desire to deepen her knowledge of the practice and contribute more to the yoga community. So, in 2000, Laura enrolled in her first teacher training course through Yoga Alliance under the guidance of Graham Fowler (Vinyasa Flow). During this six month course, Laura experienced a positive transformation on mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels. Eager to share the amazing gifts yoga had given her with others, she immediately began teaching. Since then Laura has had the opportunity to study extensively with many renowned teachers including Tim Miller (Ashtanga Yoga) and Ana Forrest (Forrest Yoga).

Laura’s longtime love and passion for yoga shines through her teaching. Her presence in the classroom is energetic, yet gentle, and she encourages embracing the present moment through breath while safely and playfully exploring the asanas. She emphasizes that what is learned on the mat can be incorporated into everyday life. Laura strives to inspire her students to deepen their connection between the body, mind, heart, and spirit.  Laura believes that it is in this deep connection where healing is truly facilitated and our most authentic selves can emerge.
